Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl feature 493 Pokémon, and some are involved in peculiar ways. While most evolve simply by leveling up, some require held items. One held item you will need if you plan to complete your Pokédex is the Razor Claw.

In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you can find the Razor Claw in Victory Road on the final floor, on Route 224 by surfing south, and finally in Battle Tower for five Battle Points. These locations occur near the end of the game or in the post-game.

The Razor Claw has two uses. It increases the critical hit ratio for the Pokémon holding this item and is used to evolve Sneasal. This is the only way to evolve Sneasal into Weavile, so you will need to get your hands on one to complete your Pokédex.

The item is only available in the post-game, so you can't use Weavile until the latter half of the game. Regardless, completionists should get one and evolve Weavile to 100 percent of the game.
