Where to Find NPC #18 J.B. Chimpanski in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8
With every new season comes a myriad of new NPCs to find on the Fortnite island. In Chapter 2 Season 8, we start off with a collection book that lists 17 NPCs, some of which are new to Battle Royale, and some of which we've known for a while. In this guide, we explain where you can find NPC #18: J.B. Chimpanski!

In the map above, you can see that J.B. Chimpanski is at the Weather Station, the landmark location about halfway up Mount Kay. This mountain is the tallest point on the map and is directly east of Misty Meadows. You can usually find J.B. Chimpanski walking around outside near the building in the northern side of the area.
Since NPCs have patrol paths, J.B. might move around the area and the image might not represent their exact location. The easiest way to find an NPC once you have approached their approximate location is to look for the Chat Bubble icon on your minimap. This icon represents NPCs available nearby. Walk towards that icon and you'll be able to find J.B.
