Gargwa Eggs are an unusual Account Item in Monster Hunter Rise. Layed by Gargwas when under attack, the Gargwa Egg is delicate and can break while you’re carrying it. Delivering a Gargwa Egg is something you can do as part of any quest for bonus Kamura points. But it’s also part of the request An Egg-cellent Idea, which asks you to deliver two Gargwa Eggs in exchange for a new Egg-Hammer blueprint.

How to deliver Gargwa Eggs to complete the An Egg-cellent Idea quest in Monster Hunter Rise

To deliver a Gargwa Egg, you’ll need to surprise a Gargwa. This will cause it to lay an egg which you can pick up and carry. To complete the delivery, you’ll need to carry the egg all the way back to the main camp and place it in the item box.

Gargwa Eggs can be obtained in any location, but the best locations are Areas 2, 6, and 13 of the Shrine Ruins anywhere on the river that runs down the side of the map. While Gargwas do spawn in other locations, these are the best for safely transporting Gargwa Eggs.

How to surprise a Gargwa

To surprise a Gargwa, you’ll need to sneak up to them by crouching and then attack them while the creature is not aggroed to you. This will cause them to lay an egg, which can be picked up and carried to the camp. You can use a normal weapon attack or a Throwing Kunai for this attack. Ranged attacks tend to work better at surprising the monsters.

Best Gargwa Egg delivery route

The best way to deliver a Gargwa Egg is back down the river. Large Monsters tend to avoid the river for the most part, and only other Gargwa’s will be in your way. The best option is to kill any Gargwa’s and other small monsters in the way of you transporting the egg. This means the best route will be down river that flows between area 13 and area 2.

How to transport Gargwa eggs safely

Remember that when carrying an egg, you’ll move much slower and be more vulnerable to attacks. And while you can sprint, dodge, and use the Wirebug, if your stamina falls to 0, you’ll drop the egg and have to do it all again.

Delivering the Gargwa Egg will bag you a significant amount of Kamura points. Additionally, the first time you complete the An Egg-cellent Idea quest, a blueprint of a new Egg-Hammer will be unlocked at the smithy.

An Egg-cellent Idea quest rewards

Completing this Request awards the Egg Hammer I Design Blueprint. Once this blueprint is unlocked, you’ll be able to commission the Egg-Hammer I and its upgrades if you’ve got the appropriate materials.
