Where are tanks in Halo Infinite Multiplayer? How to get Scorpions and Wraiths
While playing on some of the bigger maps in Halo Infinite, you will periodically see players operating Scorpion or Wraiths, dealing massive damage to everyone and everything around them. Even if you're a veteran of the series, you may be unfamiliar with the new way that you're able to get these destructive tanks in online matches!
How to get a tank
Tanks no longer spawn in Halo. Instead, they're brought in at random as the match progresses. Pelican transport ships show up periodically to bring in random heavy combat vehicles. These vehicles can be tanks, Choppers, Warthogs, etc.
During the first few minutes of a match, you're not likely to see a tank get carried in. The chance of a Pelican bringing in a Scorpion or a Wraith will increase as the match goes on. The highest chance is toward the end of the match. Still, there is no guarantee of what vehicle it will be.

To get one of the tanks, you have to be at the right place at the right time. Pelicans have multiple drop points in most maps. While the most common drop point is close to the center of the map, this is not a guarantee. Still, your best chance is to wait near the center of the map and look out for approaching Pelicans.
As soon as you see one, determine whether it brings in a tank or something else and immediately move near the drop point. Several other people might think the same thing as you, so be aware of your surroundings and take out any enemies nearby. As soon as it drops, hop in the tank. They rarely last for more than a few seconds before other players take them.
Hopefully, they'll add more methods to get tanks in the future. At the moment, this is the only way to get one!
