What to do after defeating Morgott the Omen King in Elden Ring?

After eliminating Great Bosses and demi-gods in Elden Ring, players will have to make a few choices to determine the course of their journey. While it's natural to get distracted into exploring the picturesque open world of Elden Ring, players need to know exactly where to go after defeating a demi-god like Morgott, the Omen King.

Players will need to head towards the Grand Lift of Rold to progress in the main storyline after defeating Morgott, the Omen King. This lift leads to two new zones: East and West Mountaintops of Giants. Once Morgott is vanquished, players will need to enter the Erdtree, and to do this you will need to first visit Forge of the Fire Giants located at Mountaintops of the Giants, East.

Melina appears at the Forge of the Fire Giants, asking to burn the Erdtree. It is ideal to complete side quests and find other hidden demi-gods before visiting the Forge of the Fire Giants to burn the Erdtree. Burning the tree has consequences, and players can delay this until they have completed other quests.

Alternatively, players can visit the Divine Tower of East Altus first to activate Morgott's Great Rune. This Great Rune greatly raises the Tarnished's maximum HP. This Divine Tower also restores the Great Rune for Mohg, Lord of Blood.
