What happens during the Buddy Battle festival in Rune Factory 5
Rune Factory 5 is an expansive game that has plenty of activities for you to take part in. Combat is one of the most common activities that you will be taking part in. Battling will not only help you progress through the game but can also help you win festivals like the Buddy Battle.
The Buddy Battle festival is where you send monsters that you tame into the ring to battle. You won't be able to interfere with the battle in any way, so you need to make sure to bring leveled-up monsters with you. Bosses are the best bet for winning the Buddy Battle, especially if you've spent time getting them leveled up.

As you progress through the game and with the festival, the difficulty level will increase. Be sure to keep leveling up a monster throughout the year to ensure that you can win each time Buddy Battle comes around. The event goes on for three rounds, with each round having a higher-level monster for yours to beat.
