What are Power Charms used for in Monster Hunter Rise?
Both the Powercharm and Armorcharm are items that every Hunter wants in their Item Pouch. They cost a hefty amount of Zenny, however, they have passive effects that will increase the stats of any Hunter that carries them. Both charms also have the ability to turn into something even greater.
Unlocking And Equipping
The Powercharm costs 36,000 Zenny and will increase the Attack of any Hunter that has it in their Item Pouch by six. The Armor Charm costs 24,000 Zenny and will increase the Defense of any Hunter that has it in their Item Pouch by 12. These effects only apply to one type of charm at a time, meaning that players cannot equip more than one Powercharm and Armorcharm at a time. One of each can be placed but no more than that.

The charms are available at the Market or Guild Store for their respective prices once players unlock High Rank Quests.
Crafting A Powertalon And Armortalon
Once players reach the Rampage quest for Wind Serpent Ibushi, they can use its Ibushi Claw+ to craft a Powertalon and Armortalon. The crafting recipe requires their respective charms and a single Claw to make. A Powertalon increases Attack by nine points and an Armortalon increases Defense by 18 points. Both a Talon and a Charm may be equipped in a player's Item Pouch at the same time, meaning players can increase their Attack by a total of 15 and their Defense by a total of 30.
