The powerful Shield-Weaver armor carries over to Horizon Forbidden West but its power has been lost
Horizon Forbidden West is the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn and takes place after the original game's story. Part of this includes the weapons, skills, and armor that Aloy acquired through Horizon Zero Dawn. Players looking forward to using the powerful Shield-Weaver Nora Anointed armor are in for a surprise.
According to Droid: 8K, the most powerful armor of Horizon Zero Dawn has been hit with a nerf. The description states that the powerful armor has lost its power source, thus stripping it of what makes it so powerful in the first game.

In Horizon Zero Dawn, players had to collect five power cells to unlock this powerful armor which typically can't be done until late in the game. It makes sense to strip the armor of its power in the sequel so that players are not overpowered at the beginning.
It is unknown at this time if players can repower this armor in Horizon Forbidden West or if another armor will take its place. Find out when Horizon Forbidden West launches for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on Feb. 18!
