Pokémon Go: Can you catch a shiny Tapu Koko?
The Season of Alola Event will begin in Pokémon Go on March 1, 2022, and with it comes a plethora of new wild encounters, egg hatches, and raids where players can catch new Pokémon from the Alola Region. One of the most notable inclusions is the legendary Land Spirit Pokémon, Tapu Koko.
As with most of the new additions in this event, Tapu Koko cannot be shiny when encountered after a raid battle. Players can expect this Pokémon's shiny variant to appear in the game sometime in the future, but for now, it will only be available in its base form.
What Pokémon will debut during the Season of Alola Event?
The Season of Alola Event will debut a long list of Pokémon in the game. The Alolan starters (Rowlett, Litten, and Popplio), Pikipek and its evolutions, Yungoos and Gumshoos, the pseudo-legendary Jangmo-o evolution line, and many more.
