Tunche is an action-adventure beat 'em up that features roguelike elements in a beautiful hand-drawn style. Players are tasked with saving the Amazon rainforest from monsters and can choose one of five characters, either solo or co-op, with up to three friends. Most of the characters and NPCs are original to Tunche, but one character isn't.

That character is Hat Kid from A Hat In Time. LEAP Game Studios have collaborated with Gears for Breakfast to bring the cute as heck protagonist to Tunche. Hat Kid joins Rumi, Pancho, Qaru, and Nayra on their quest to defeat the evil in the rainforest.

Hat Kid takes her platforming skills and uses them to help the characters of Tunche to take back the rainforest. Like the others, she has unique skills and combos that can be upgraded and modified. Players may notice if they stand still that Hat Kid has an adorable smug dance for her idle animation.

Hat Kid will also have her own story to tell in Tunche. Fans of A Hat In Time can once again play as her in a brand new adventure, completely unlike her original game. Just remember to pick her first if you are playing co-op with friends!
