How to sign-up for the Version 3.0 Genshin Impact beta test

Genshin Impact's beta test gives lucky placers a chance to be the first to play upcoming content and provide developer HoYoverse feedback that could result in major gameplay changes. While it's notorious for having high security measures and being extremely hard to get into, signing up is as easy as filling out a Google Form. Here's everything you need to know about signing up and getting into the coveted Genshin Impact Version 3.0 beta server.

Genshin Impact Beta Testing Requirements

HoYoverse has implemented strict criteria for screening applicants interested in beta testing Genshin Impact's upcoming update. Before signing up, make sure you qualify by meeting the following requirements:

  • You must be a member of the Genshin Impact Official Discord channel.
  • You must be over 18 years old upon submitting the application.
  • You must own an unexpired government-issued ID that contains the following information: your full name, a unique identification number, your date of birth, and an expiration date.
  • You must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and present the government-issued ID as part of the screening process.

How to Access the Genshin Impact Beta Test Recruitment Form

Like HoYoverse's other beta testing offers, you can score a spot in the Genshin Impact beta test for Version 3.0 and be the first to enjoy the exciting update through a lottery system. Simply fill out the Genshin Impact beta test recruitment form with your personal information by June 13, 2022. Keep in mind that only a select number of players who meet all the beta testing requirements above and HoYoverse's criteria will be chosen to participate.

If you're one of the lucky few chosen to participate, HoYoverse will get in touch via email. You will be required to fill out a non-disclosure agreement that prevents you from leaking content.

What if I'm Missing Some Requirements?

You can fill-up the form for the Genshin Impact beta test even if you're missing some of the preliminary requirements, but it's not likely for you to be chosen to access the test server. Genshin Impact's beta test is known for its strict security measures, so HoYoverse requires more personal information—such as your Discord account and a real-life government-issued ID—as a cushion to protect their content from being leaked. The company has a history of suing leakers, so do be cautious if you sign the non-disclosure agreement.
