How to preload Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition

Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition will be available for preloading at midnight local time on Nov. 6 for PS4 and PS5.

On Nov. 5, the Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One preload times begin. As soon as the PS4 and PS5 versions are available, you can preload them through the PlayStation Store.

Pre-ordering Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition on your preferred platform is required to preload the game. As soon as you have purchased it, you will need to download it via your platform. Once you buy the game on a console, the process will probably happen automatically for you. If that doesn't happen, you can find it in your library and click download.

For PC users, the process is similar. Preloading a game is as simple as finding it under your game's library and clicking download. Steam users may also have the option to do this after purchasing the game, and the download may be referred to as preload instead.

How big is Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition's download size?

The download size clocks in around 45 GBs in size for all platforms, so preloading is recommended, as that will take some time to finish.

When will Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition be playable?

The digital release of GTA: The Trilogy is scheduled for Nov. 11 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. On Dec. 7, physical copies of the game will be available. Even though earlier reports suggested that the collection would cost $70, it is only $59.99.
