Fishing has become a popular mechanic in games, and Genshin Impact is no different. There are several different types of fish to catch in the game, and fishing areas are spread across all three regions to fish at. In order to catch fish though, you will need a constant supply of bait.

While you will be given bait during the initial fishing quest, this will quickly run out. There are four types of bait in the game. You will have access to the fruit paste bait recipe from the start, but the other three types are sold by the Mondstadt Fishing Association.

Each bait recipe will cost you three Medaka fish. Once you have the recipes, you can head to an alchemy table to craft them.

Here are the recipes for all four bait types:

• Fruit Paste Bait: One Sunsettia and One Wheat.
• Redrot Bait: One Dendrobium and One Fowl.
• Fake Fly Bait: One Slime Condensate and One Berry.
• False Worm Bait: One Sakure Bloom and One Horsetail.

You will craft ten pieces of bait at a time.
