How to get the White Mask in Elden Ring

The White Mask is just one of the four pieces that make up the War Surgeon armor set in Elden Ring. When equipped, it can provide a solid balance of Physical and Magical defense. It can also boost attack power by 10% for 20 seconds when Blood Loss is inflicted on an enemy, therefore making it a strong choice for both newcomers and seasoned pros.

To get the White Mask, you will need to defeat a Nameless White Mask NPC, a high-level enemy that can be found around the blood-soaked lakes of Moghwyn Dynasty Mausoleum. However, before venturing out to the pools, note that killing Mohg will automatically lock you out of acquiring the White Mask. With that said, you should aim to obtain the Helm before progressing deeper into the story.

Where to find the Nameless White Mask

The easiest way to reach the Moghwyn Dynasty Mausoleum is through the Pureblood Knight's Medal, an item that can be earned by completing White-Mask Varre's quest chain. Alternatively, you can travel to the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace, and then head west toward the liquid pools.

Once you have fought your way to the area, you will notice three Nameless White Mask NPCs. Note that only one of these will drop the White Mask, whereas the others may drop the other pieces to the War Surgeon set.
