VRChat is a fun way to spend your time, even if you don't have a VR headset to play with yet. There are tons of different rooms to chat in, and the game gives you the ability to meet users from all over the world. Of course, you will want to pick out a stylish avatar to meet your new friends with.

Depending on how much work you want to put in, there are two different ways to get avatars in VRChat. The first is by finding avatar rooms in the game. These rooms will be lined with pictures of avatars, and all you need to do to use them is interact with the picture and can be searched up using the in-game search bar.

There are hundreds of these rooms in the game. If you want to have a custom avatar made or pull one from a site like Sketchfab, you will need to do more work and use Unity to ultimately get your Avatar into the game. 

While this may sound like a hard process, it's actually pretty straightforward after you download the proper programs. Once you have your avatar selected, your preset will load up each time you log in to the game.
