How to farm Dragonheir’s False Fin in Genshin Impact
The Dragonheir's False Fin is a four-star material dropped by the Bathysmal Vishap Herd, a World Boss pair that lives in the depths of Enkanomiya. It's an Ascension material for the Cloud Retainer's Disciple, Shenhe, and possibly new characters that will release in the future.
This pair of angry Vishaps make challenging opponents—and you need to take both down to claim rewards. Here's what you need to know about them to farm Dragonheir's False Fin.
Where to Find Bathysmal Vishap Herd
The Bathysmal Vishap Herd lives in the base of the Dainichi Mikoshi in Enkanomiya. To unlock this location and the World Boss, you must first complete the World Quest The Subterranean Trials of Drake and Serpent.
See Genshin Impact on AmazonUnfortunately, this means that you must unlock Enkanomiya, which requires you to unlock Watatsumi Island, which also requires you to have access to Inazuma. So if you're a new player who pulled for Shenhe or any other character that requires the Dragonheir's False Fin, you need to play the game a bit more before you can Ascend them.

When you enter the Dainichi Mikoshi, jump down the triangular entrance to the base of the area to meet the Vishap pair.
Bathysmal Vishap Herd Battle Tips
The Bathysmal Vishap Herd consists of two powerful Vishaps: one Electro and one Cryo. However, they are not resistant to Electro or Cryo Attacks. Both can shoot Elemental Attacks that deal massive AoE Damage. They can also Leap and jump onto your character, dealing Physical Damage.
As a two-Visap pair, the Bathysmal Herd has also been trained to use Combo Attacks, which include shooting massive beams or rapidly firing Elements. These can put you in a pickle, so consider bringing a shield Support or a healer (or both!) to aid your team's survivability. On that note, some of the Vishaps' skills can ignore shields, so it's highly recommended to watch your HP, even while being protected by a powerful shield.
Finally, it's important to know that killing a Vishap won't stop it from attacking. The defeated Vishap will stay at the edge of the field and will continue firing Elemental balls until the second is defeated. It costs 40 Original Resin to claim rewards after successfully defeating the Bathysmal Vishap Herd.
