The answer is yes—custom games are in Halo Infinite. To create one, select Custom Game from the main menu, taking you to the custom games tab. From here, you will be able to create your game modes. There are four settings to mess with: Mode Editor, Map Selection, Lobby Options, and Server Settings.

Mode Editor

This is where you can select the base of the mode you want to edit. Once you have selected either Slayer, Capture-The-Flag, Stronghold, Oddball, or Stockpile, you will tweak it to fit your creation. You can adjust several different options:

  • Score
  • Time Limit
  • Respawn settings.
  • Properties of weapons, equipment, vehicles, and melee attacks.
  • Health
  • Damage
  • Movement
  • Bots

Map Setting

This allows you to select which map your game mode is played on. You can choose from 343 Industries maps, the standard maps, Popular maps that will likely take effect once Forge is implemented, and Bookmarked maps.

Lobby Options

Here you can change the settings for your lobby. You can select friends, invite-only, observers, and the max lobby size. 28 is the maximum lobby size.

Server Settings

This is where you select the server your game is running on. These options include Xbox Live, local offline, or LAN Network.
