How does Lucky Break work in Dead by Daylight?

Lucky Break is a survivor perk in Dead by Daylight unique to DLC character Yui Kimura. Kimura was added with the Cursed Legacy DLC that also includes killer The Oni, and the Sanctum of Wrath map.

The Lucky Break perk can be used by Yui Kimura and can be unlocked for all characters from level 30 and up. The Lucky Break perk suppresses bleeding and scratch marks when a survivor enters Injured State once per match. The most recent 5.0.0 patch buffed Lucky Break, so here is the adjusted effect duration for each tier.

TierBloodpointsDescription
14,000Bleeding and Scratch Marks are suppressed for a maximum of 40 seconds.
25,000Bleeding and Scratch Marks are suppressed for a maximum of 50 seconds.
36,000Bleeding and Scratch Marks are suppressed for a maximum of 60 seconds.
Teachable5,000Bleeding and Scratch Marks are suppressed for a maximum of several seconds.

Lucky Break is only activated in an Injured State and will deactivate if the survivor enters a Healthy State or a Dying State. It is important to note that Lucky Break only activates once per match, so the first time the survivor is hit, they will exhaust the Lucky Break perk.

Unlocking the Teachable Lucky Break perk makes it available in all survivors' bloodwebs, so it can be purchased there. To unlock it, players must unlock it in Yui Kimura's level 30 bloodweb, or in the Shrine of Secrets.
