Genshin Impact: Xingqiu Best Build, Team, and More!
With the next banner staring Childe and Diona, called Farewell of Snezhnaya, you might have already dropped them! Though in the last Banner for Klee, you might have gotten a powerful Hydro user called Xingqui! Now Xingqiu might look bookish; however, he's been studying the blade, and he's not afraid to flow into the thick of the fighting. Although he is more of a supporting character, so you parter him up correctly, he'll really supplement your team! Here's a guide on how to use Xingqiu in the best way!
Playstyle
Xingqiu is best played as a support character, do not expect him to deal the most damage out of your entire party; if he is the damage dealer, then there is something amiss. Though when he is paired with the right combo, he can increase team effectiveness through the roof. Imagine Xingqiu has a Whetstone for sharpening blades. A blade without sharpening will get dull swiftly. If you take care of the blade with a Whetstone, the blade will shine and slice anything in its path. The Whetstone supports the blade; without it, it's not as effective!
Oddly enough, Xingqiu's abilities scale of his ATK even though he is a supporting role, this means that he can still deal heavy damage if he is built correctly. Also, Hydro isn't an element to cause massive damage; it's more so an element to cause the Hydro effect, which leaves enemies vulnerable to other element effects.

Best Team for Xingqui
As we said above, Xingqui is an excellent supporting DPS character, and when partnered up with another Hydro DPS character such as Mona, his true power unfolds. Furthermore, when having a leading helmsman such as Pyro user Dilic on the team, they can utilize more elemental reactions and cause massive damage. The last piece of the team is Bennett, another Pyro user, as having double Pyro users increases your team's overall damage!
If you do not have Diluc, you can change him for Klee, is a phenomenal damage dealer. If you do not have Bennett, you can swap out this gentleman for cooking mad Pyro Xiangling. The fire Pyro users are essential to unleashing this team's true potential!
Yes, having another Hydro user is perfect for Xingqui however, if you do not have Mona, you can use either Fischl or Venti. This overall will give the team more Elemental Reactions for the team to use! Which is never a bad thing!
