Elden Ring – What does Remembrance of the Omen King do?
Morgott, the Omen King, is one of the main demi-god bosses players will face in Elden Ring. Although defeating him is tough, players will be rewarded with the Remembrance of the Omen King after eliminating the enemy. Morgott is located at the Elden Throne, and players will have to face him to progress in the storyline. After defeating the boss, you can use the Remembrance of the Omen King in the following ways:
- Purchase Morgott's Cursed Sword (20,000 Runes)
- Purchase Regal Omen Bairn (5,000 Runes)
- Sell the Remembrance for 30,000 Runes
Visit Finger Reader Enia at the Roundtable Hold to purchase these items. Players can also duplicate the Remembrance at any of the unused Walking Mausoleums to get both weapons.

Morgott's Cursed Sword can be upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones and is one of the strongest weapons in the game. Its unique skill, Cursed-Blood Slice, allows players to charge forward to deliver a downward diagonal slice. This is followed by a burst of flame, and players can follow it up with an additional attack.
The sword also has a passive effect that causes blood loss buildup every time it strikes the enemy. Similarly, the Regal Omen Bairn is a consumable item that can be used to summon several wraiths. This item uses 50 FP to unleash these summons and is quite effective when you are outnumbered.
