Diablo 2 Resurrected Online vs Offline Mode

Diablo 2 Resurrected reintroduced the game to many new players and brought the amazing Diablo 2 for the first time to the consoles.

The first thing you will need to do when starting your adventure in Diablo 2 Resurrected is to choose the mode. You can either create an offline character or an online character. There is no right choice; both offline and online options have their advantages and disadvantages.

Offline mode allows players to enjoy the story of Diablo 2 Resurrected on their own. It is an old-school way to play the game all by yourself at your own pace. The other advantage is not having to worry about the server status. Offline mode is also great for testing your builds or hardcore tactics to implement in future playthroughs.

Online mode allows you to play offline too, but you will have the ability to play with others online with up to 7 other players (8 in total). This also includes clearing dungeons together, trading, and just experiencing the story together. You can participate in ladder rankings and be a part of seasonal events with additional rewards.

It all depends on the player's preferences. It is always good to have as many options as possible to play your own way. It's great that you are given a choice to enjoy the game alone, as well as with friends.
