Psychogenic Intel is the new seasonal currency that you will find in Destiny 2: Season of the Risen. In order to get this currency, all you have to do is successfully complete Strikes, Gambit and Crucible matches. If you're lucky, you will receive some Psychogenic Intel in Destiny 2 by defeating enemies around the world as well.

However, you can hold only 2000 Psychogenic Intel at any given point of time. In order to start earning more Psychogenic Intel, you will need to spend them first. Psychogenic Intel can be used to decode Runic Chests in PsiOps Battlegrounds. These Runic Chests yield Risen Umbral Energy. This can be used to focus Umbral Engrams in the H.E.L.M. Opening a Runic Chest in the PsiOps seasonal activity costs around 500 Psychogenic Intel.
If you're having trouble farming Psychogenic Intel in Destiny 2, you can equip some Tusked Allegiance set. This armor set has the "Uniformed Officer" perk on it. This perk gives a short boost to the amount of Psychogenic Intel that you receive from playlist activities.
