Can you Skip Text in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin?
Most of your time spent in the reimagining of the original Final Fantasy, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, will be hacking your way through dozens on dozens of classic Final Fantasy enemies. Sometimes, however, you'll find yourself in a lengthy conversation between (or during) missions, and unfortunately, no matter how many times you attempt to jam all the buttons, you cannot skip individual lines of dialogue—sorry, speed readers.

Fortunately, this game will allow you to skip most of anything that you don't want to experience. If you're particularly bored with any given conversation outside of a cutscene, or you just don't care about the story, you can follow a prompt that appears in the lower right-hand corner to skip the conversation entirely. This will return you to the gauntlet of enemies patiently waiting for your sword (or magic) to the face in the next area.
