Apex Legends to discontinue all previous Legend Edition DLC bundles
Apex Legends is a free-to-play game, but there has always been a fair share of in-app purchases for cosmetic items that allow the game to make money. One of those ways was through Legend Editions, a platform-specific DLC specialized for several of the individual characters in the game. The eight Legends who have Legend Editions are as follows: Lifeline, Bloodhound, Octane, Pathfinder, Gibraltar, Mirage, Bangalore, and Loba.
Since they were first introduced, Legend Editions were thought to be permanent DLCs that would continue to be added to the store for more Legends, and always remain available to those who wanted them. That said, out of nowhere, Apex Legends added an in-game announcement stating this was it. It told players that now would be their last chance to get these editions.

There were rumors of a Wraith Edition in the works, so it is possible Legend Editions may make a return in the future, just most likely in a different format. That said, it is safe to say that if you want any of the Legend Edition exclusive cosmetics, you'll want to buy them now, as they may not ever return to Apex Legends.
It is estimated that the actual removal will happen with the launch of Season 12: Defiance on Feb. 8.
