All Stats and what they do in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has a new feature to the Borderlands series involving stat distribution. Like a Dungeons and Dragons character sheet, players can put their points into any of their six stats as they level up through the game. Each of them can be used to better round out builds and different playstyles. Here is what all the stats do in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

Hero Stats

Starting off, players can choose a background that best suits their playstyle, making two stats in the negatives and two others in the positive. Every stat begins at 10 and each background will lower two stats by two and four while increasing two other stats by the same amount.

Strength

The Strength stat determines a character's Critical Damage from all sources. If a particular weapon has Critical Damage, then that weapon's Crit. Damage is stacked onto the value from the Strength bonus. The same applies to other gear bonuses, however, some bonuses only apply to specific damage types such as melee critical damage. Each point in Strength increases the Critical Damage by 1.25 percent.

Dexterity

The Dexterity stat determines a character's Critical Chance from all sources. Critical hits will always occur when firing at an enemy's weak spot, but Critical Chance can make it more likely for every shot to be a Crit. Each point in Dexterity increases the Critical Chance by two percent.

Intelligence

The Intelligence stat determines a character's Spell Cooldown. Every point in Intelligence increases the cooldown by one percent.

Wisdom

The Wisdom stat determines a character's Status Damage. This includes all burst status and damage over time effects from elemental effects like Shock. Every point in Wisdom increases the Status Damage by two percent.

Constitution

The Constitution stat determines a character's Maximum Hit Points and Maximum Ward Capacity. Each point in Constitution increases both HP and Ward Capacity by 2.5 percent.

Attunement

The Attunement stat determines a character's Skill Cooldown. This makes it so the Action Skill of the player will become available faster. Each point in Attunement improves the cooldown rate by one percent.

  • Ability Damage - The percent of damage that abilities are increased by.
  • Specific Critical Chance/Damage - Many pieces of gear will specifically state which weapon is being buffed such as Gun Damage Critical Chance. These are measured in percentages.
